On a steel surface under the cold clinical light of my mind
Lies a dream that was one of a kind
I'm tracing with a knife a Line
I'm analyzing the rests of what once felt so fine
Time has made several bruises
Sadly My eyes see lots of ditches.

The dream is so damaged and lifeless today
While it was bursting and blooming yesterday
One year before , on this very day
The dream was healthy and so alive
I can't believe it, it can't revive.

Am I really hurting myself when i Think of it
I may ignore it, say it wasn't real
I may know that If I glance at it, It won't heal
This dream wasn't without thorns I admit
It brought moments of sorrow
I wonder if I'll find another , I don't know.

So What's the cause of Death
When I recall I'm shorter of breath
I think I might Know
The dream caught a cancer
There was no chance for a new chapter
While the book was still thin
All that was coming along never had a chance to begin
The dream died on an early morning of winter

I once Lived a dream, By the side of a sunbeam
I once lived a Dream , I loved to the extreme
Now there's nothing I can do, not even scream
I once lived a dream, Love was the theme.
I took it to the limits, I felt it in my bloodstream
I grieve as I deem

that Now, All that's left to do is the Autopsy of this dream.

Oh wow...this is really deep.
I'm loving the rhymes. At least when you do it, you don't sound like Dr. Seuss (I do when I try to rhyme, xD)

But seriously, great work hun. <333
I tried singing it, but I couldn't figure out a good vocal melody.
